Cameras have always fascinated me. For a long time, I simply knew that I wanted to work with them, without really knowing why. Only later did I realise what drew me to them: they give me a way to make people see, understand and feel things.
For me, visual storytelling is not just about making something look good. It is about finding a way into a story, especially when something is complex, abstract or difficult to explain with words alone. Audiovisuals can make ideas tangible, help people connect with a situation and sometimes change the way we understand something.
My background in Geography has shaped this perspective. My Master’s degree taught me to look at the relationships between people, places and the world around us - something I now bring into my work as a visual storyteller.
Before becoming a freelancer, I worked as an in-house Video Editor at KISKA, creating content for brands including KTM, Husqvarna, Campagnolo and Palfinger. Today, I work independently as a video editor and filmmaker, both shaping stories in the edit and creating them from the ground up. My work ranges from editing commercial films and television advertising to developing and realising projects with independent artists.
I’m always curious about new stories, new perspectives, the people behind them and open to wherever a good story might lead!

I grew up in the Californian desert, now I live in Salzburg amidst the Austrian and German Alps. I grew up creating art and wanting to become an animator, after school I decided to go into the very technical field of computer science. From hot sand to cold snow, from colorful art to algorithms and coding, it has always been hard for me to decide on one single devotion.
As a UX designer and graphic designer, I'm lucky enough to combine the world of art and computers. Keeping the human thought process in mind, my goal is to create fun designs that resonate with the viewer.
How ICING came to be
We are two longtime friends who grew up dreaming about creating things together. Over the years, each of us took our own path into the creative world. Now we've brought those paths together as two freelancers under one name: ICING. Based in our small shared studio in Salzburg, ICING is where we combine our skills, ideas, and experience. It’s a space for collaboration, experimentation, and honest creativity. We inspire and challenge each other daily, and that energy flows into every project we take on.
This is what we have always wanted to build - and we’re just getting started.
